To add on, we were also given the golden opportunity to make coverage on the Young Readers’ Boat Library which was at Millennium Park Ghat. The ferry had a wonderful library inside, mainly focused for the ones who just love reading books while enjoying a cool atmosphere around them, and it was just a wonderful feeling to delve in the world of books while cruising in the mighty Hooghly River passing under the legendary Howrah Bridge. To add some more delight one can also buy and enjoy some snacks which were Kolkata at the cruise while enjoying the beautiful sunset and cool breeze. This initiative by the West Bengal Transport Corporation along with the cooperation of Apeejay School is first of its kind in India, and the concept is absolutely unique and highly appealing to the people of Kolkata and around.
